We are one of the few agencies providing the APT - an AI-powered, adaptive assessment that pinpoints your child’s strengths and weaknesses, offering valuable insights to help improve their outcomes in school admission tests.
By comparing the results with 10,000s of children, it is a reliable indicator of which schools are the best fit from an academic perspective, as well as likely success in the admissions tests. The APT has the further advantage that it is a very similar system to the ones used by many schools for their first-round entrance exams.
On completion of the online assessments, we will arrange a 30-minute feedback consultation to discuss your child’s report versus the scores that different independent schools are seeking.

Typically completed in 60-90 minutes, the test is specifically tailored to the age group and ability of each student, and adjusts in real-time, presenting more challenging or easier questions based on their responses. This enables the test to accurately pinpoint strengths and areas which may need additional support.

In line with school admissions tests, the APT assesses students across four key areas: English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
English and Maths measure core academic proficiency, while Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning assess cognitive skills, focusing on a student’s ability to solve problems, think critically, and process information both in linguistic and visual-spatial formats.

To provide a meaningful context for the test results, each student's performance is compared against both independent school standards and UK national averages. This allows parents and educators to understand where a child stands relative to their peers in the wider educational landscape. By benchmarking results in this way, we offer a clear picture of how students fare in competitive academic environments, providing valuable insights for future learning paths and school admissions.

Once the assessment is completed, a detailed report is provided, breaking down performance by specific topics within each subject area. Whether it’s a particular mathematical concept or a specific reasoning skill, the report ensures targeted feedback that can guide further learning and development.
